The documentary Salt in the Blood results from obtaining testimonies from artisanal fishermen during an artistic residency held in Setúbal during the pandemic. The short film, directed by João Bordeira and Sérgio Braz d’Almeida and contributed by anthropologist Mariana Macedo Dias, documents life stories, daily difficulties and the connection to the sea of the fishermen of Setúbal. In the documentary, there are reports of men between the ages of 34 and 85, who recall a better fishing past.
